Alright, I have been swamped with work and have clearly been neglecting my blog. I just don’t have the energy for it now so sorry! I do have some plans for a revamp so please bear with me for a bit. I promise to have it going again soon.

Meanwhile, the one entry I always have to put up is our Family Sale news!! This time is gonna be tight. Everything is gonna be SUPER cheap. We moved to a new office and are cleaning up our inventory at our warehouses so we have priced everything at a loss….everything.

90% off is common. $300 denim for 3000yen-5000yen. I’d say there are more bottoms than tops but for this price, I think it’s worth dropping by. This is the last family sale we’re gonna have at this old office (which is all empty now) so I’d take advantage of it while you can. Our staff is also doing the same.We’re all gonna stock up on jeans for the season.

I recently had the chance to catch up with Robby!

You may remember him as one of the creative directors of JDM INSIDER!

Since then, he’s advanced quite a bit and it was great to hang out with him in Tokyo.

It was cherry blossom season  here in Tokyo and the whole city turned out to enjoy the scenery!

桜が満開になったので花見しに行きました！

This ain’t no joke. Look how crowded it is!

言うまでもないが激混みだった！

They broadcast the exact days when the sakura are in full bloom so the weekend of full bloom is like a carnival!

武道館の外はこんな感じだった。もうお祭り状態！

They’ll have these cool omatsuri festival style booths where you can get sake, yakitori and other overpriced, but tasty carnival goodies.

I always get shochu drink and some snacks for the road.

Man, I have to admit the the sakuras look pretty cool in person. They contrast really well with the black tree trunks.

寒かったけど桜はきれいだった。

A little bit of sunshine never hurt either!

なんていうか、ボリュームたっぷり！日も出てきてさらにパワーアップ！

There are sakura trees all over Tokyo like these ones lining the river and train tracks.

電車から見る桜もいいね。本当桜の木って街中にあるんだな。

You can sort of get lost in the sakura blossoms…

やっぱりきれいだな〜

I decided to walk down these line of trees in full bloom.

It’s like walking in a tunnel of sakura…

桜の木に囲まれた道…花のトンネルみたいだったけど…

Except for the fact that I was stuck behind this guy and he kept showing up in all of my pictures…

このオヤジの後ろにハマっちゃってどの写真にもこの頭が…

So we decided to move off the track and go up this cool street…

ウザかったのでここから脱出。

The sun started to come out and it began to warm up!

天気もよくなってきて気分もアップ！

Ahhh…sakoooora

いいね〜〜癒してくれ〜〜

Tintin was ready to head to Yoyogi Park for some more action…

そこでティンティンが先頭で代々木公園へ！

And as expected from Tokyo’s main inner city park, Yoyogi was packed with people.

そして予想通りの混みっぷり。

Everyone was enjoying the “hanami” or “flower watching”. You basically bring drinks and food and party under the sakura.

It’s a national tradition and another excuse to drink from noon!

みんな強引に木の下に集まり、花見パーティーしてた。

やっぱ、昼からの酒はうまいね！

This is a big park so you can imagine how many people were here…

周りはこんな感じ。公園っぽくていいね〜

Tintin seemed to enjoy the atmosphere…

ティンティンも満足。

Just another day to reset the soul, enjoy good company…

That’s why I made this grilled white asparagus appetizer…just so I could sprinkle some parsley on top…

そのパセリが無駄にならないようにわざわざこの白いアスパラの一品を作りました…

But wait,…I grow green onions too!

Add some salt, pepper, sake, butter, shoyu, and lemon and grill to perfection!

I guess this is where I’m supposed to show the final cut with onions but it looked so good, I ate it right there on the spot without taking a picture…

…but she also has this side…

Super dope. 6 months of training with a katana sword…It REALLY shows in her final scene.

It’s not an action movie by  no means, but those final few minutes of action make it all worthwhile.

The fight scene was short but wow….

でもこれは新鮮！！かっこいい！

６ヶ月もトレーニングしたんだって。

剣裁きはお見事だった！

本当に感動してしまいました…（笑）

Great job Keiko!! Bring your sword over to my house next time and let’s cut some shit.

I loved it. = )

…just as much as the free dinner you bought us after the premiere…and the crazy afterparty too!

でもこの景子が一番好きかな！

景子、作品面白かったよ！

誘ってくれてありがとうね。プレミアのあとの食事もおごってくれてありがとう！

あのあとのafter partyはマジ最高だったね！

FYI: It’s about keio’s character  innocently falling in love with a guy. However, they meet during a sword fight sparring session. She loves swords and the art-form surrounding it. That guy gets setup by some rich people and he ends up committing suicide to take responsibility for the problems…Knowing that this guy got setup, Keiko’s character starts to seek the truth…and ends up cutting everyone up…sweet…

Nothing beats a lunchtime beer with C☆ and some dope Kyushu ramen!

最近は昼間のビールが僕の一つのweekend楽しみになってるんだ。

九州ラーメンとビール…オヤジ達が昼から飲み始める気持ちが少し分かる（笑）

This ramen shop right near my house is the bomb! Check out these gyoza dumplings!

We started with a fresh salad to go with  our beer and pasta…

After beer and food, we decided to cruise by Yoyogi Park, one of Tokyo’s biggest inner city parks.

The cherry blossoms were starting to bloom and it felt great to be out in the fresh air!

ビールも飲み、おいしい食べ物を食べてから近所の代々木公園に行ってきた。

桜はまだぜんぜんなかったけど気持ちよかった〜

But we decided to leave because… well… there were no cherry blossoms and it was pretty cold…

でも桜もまだ咲いてなかったし結構寒かったら帰る事に…

I’d have to say the highlight of the day was the dog cafe.

If there was like a dog cafe magazine, I’d imagine the cover to be something like this…

でもやっぱドッグカフェが一番楽しかったな！

ドッグカフェ専用の雑誌があったらこういう表紙にしてもらいたいな（笑）
