A day at Enoshima Island 2

Here we are on the way down taking a break…

Once at the bottom, we decided to enjoy the local seafood.

Beer, fresh grilled scallops and Sazae sea snails…yes, that sounds wierd but it tastes really good.

Asami trying out a real camera…

Another delicacy is “Nama-Shirasu”. They’re super small fresh [...]

A day at Enoshima Island 1

Old school sign…

It sort of has a European feel to it.

And the rare looking train the you don’t see too often in the city…

It’s the famous ENO-den train line!

The beach crew:Jose, Dustin,Phil,Ken-chan,me and C★!

Checking out the History Garage and Mega Web…again

Tintin and the rest of us went to check out the History Garage again.

It’s always nice to drop by when you’re in the neighborhood.

The remodeled a portion of the exhibit. They still had a cool restaurant…

and a really dope make believe garage…

The cars in the [...]

Toy Expo at Odaiba’s Tokyo Big Site

So here we are again at Odaiba. This is Tokyo Big Site. The Tokyo Auto Salon used to be held here back in the day.

I used to come here to set up early in the morning.

Inside was INSANE…

As with all other things in Japan, the exhibits were top class. Here is [...]

The theme here was Tokyo street drinking…

Drinking in front of the conbini…

Hitting up  trendy cafes in Shibuya…

Establishing our ground…

Partying at the Good Life in Harajuku

With everyone here from LA, NY, SF and Tokyo, we all went to the FATLACE party at the new club/bar/lounge called the Good Life in Harajuku.

This place happened to be just 2 minutes walking distance from my house!!

The bar had a great vibe and was just the right [...]

Omatsuri

No summer in Japan is complete without the “omatsuri” or festival.

They’re usually held at temples you often pass through these huge gateways called torii.

There’s dancing and the whole atmosphere is charged with people drinking, partying and enjyong the night.

It’s super hot and festive. Here uyou see girls [...]

Good Friends

Phil, Dustin, Phi and myself.

It was great to catch up with Phil and Phi. I missed Mark who was partying with Kenta at another place but I hope to catch them before they go back to the US. It was Dustin’s first time in Tokyo so it was also a special occasion.

One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole world…and it’s a kaiten sushi restaurant.

The sushi moves around on a conveyor belt and you choose what you like. Usually, kaiten sushi places are cheap and not really associated with high class sushi (unless it’s in Hokaido or something) . It’s more a [...]

Good Times at the Family Sale!!

Thanks to everybody who came to our family sale!

We had actresses, models, stylists, and all sorts of family friends hanging out all weekend!

Even at 70% OFF, the price point was a bit higher this time because we had more expensive stuff on sale. Next time will be cheaper!

Shoes were [...]

Bread and Butter

One of the reasons I was in Europe was to check out the Bread and Butter Fashion Show in Berlin.

It was the first time in 4 yrs that the show returned to Berlin from Spain.

It was held at the historic Tempelhof airport.

Always cool to have [...]

Berlin

So now it was time to change gears and head to Berlin. This is the Kurfurstendamm area, sort of like the main blvd on the west side of Berlin.

There were no more cute cottages like in Sweden anymore…

Berlin was modern architecture all the way!

I got dizzy looking [...]

Gothenburg Sweden

I went to Gothenburg, Sweden for the second time to visit our friends at Dr Denim.

It’s the second largest city on the west coast of Sweden and a 3 and a half hour train ride from Stockholm.

Full of canals and history, it’s a town full of universities and [...]
