One cool thing about living in Tokyo is that everything is super advanced.
Let’s take the bath tub.

Here is the control center for my bath tub.
You can automatically fill it…on a pre-programmed timer…
You can set the temperature to exactly how hot you like it…every time!
追いたきはすごいね〜
本当感動ですよ…だって今まで仕組みなんか知らなかったもん！（笑）
You can set the water height too!
And the best thing? It’s called the “OITAKI” (pronounced OY-TAKI), meaning to follow up with heated water.
Once the tub is full, the OITAKI system will maintain the exact water temp for as long as you want!
Yes, no more luke warm baths!

シャワーしか無い国もあるし、毎回同じ温度でお風呂に入れられるこの感動…

This is the remote control panel in the living room/ kitchen. You can access all functions from here. Luxury models have video monitors, and much more.
The system also has a call button in case you need help. It also sounds a recorded message from the living room control panel to let you know when the bath tub is done. So dope.
おもちゃのように温度はめっちゃ調整しています。無駄に呼び出しをしたり、ボタンを押しまくる入浴タイム…
The shower room also has this control panel for humidity, heat, fan, and drying functions.
It’s a completely climate controlled environment/ dryer!
換気システムも感動だね。冬の暖房が結構好きかも。
As if the bathtub wasn’t enough, there’s the “washlet.” All hail the washlet!!
It’s a fully automated sanitary machine that makes going to the bathroom a civilized and pleasurable experience.
Now anyone who makes fun of this hasn’t tried it and frankly has a dirtier ass than me…

携帯みたいで無かった時代は別にどうでも良かったんだけど、
一回使っちゃうと元の生活には戻れない…ってかんじ。
1) Odor Killer Vacuum Fan- By far the most important to me…It has a 2 speed fan with filter that sucks away the poopie smell. You can also add different kinds of fragrance cartridges in the side.
You don’t need to be scared anymore about going to the bathroom after someone else! I almost forgot what the poopie smells like!
一番大事な機能はなんと言っても消臭機能だね。
これで世の中は変わったに違いない！
海外ではいつも他人のう◯ちタイムと戦っていたからね〜。
ハウスパーティーでお腹が痛くなった時なんか大変！
外で５−６人の男女が並んで待ってた時なんかまじで死にたかったな〜
この昨日があれば救われたのに…
2) Ass washer- Another MUST.
You adjust water strength and temp to your liking. Push the button and a nozzle come out (this has a cleaning function for good hygiene) and rinses off your butt. Then you can either use paper or a blow dryer( if you have extra time to kill) to dry off. All I can say is you don’t walk around like a dog with poopie stains on your butt. The spray also has a massage function which is pretty good too.
おしり機能も最高。最初は違和感あったけど今は大好き！
慣れないうちは座ってるポジションで悩んだり、ノズルを見ようと思い、ボタンを押してシャツに水をかけられるという事件もあったけど…
The jet stream has actually been calculated to produce the maximum cleansing from your butt.
For first timers: The spray will come on slow for the first 1-2 seconds to “tell” you where it’s gonna spray. Then, adjust your seat position so that the jet stream hits the death star…and don’t panic and stand up because you’ll get blasted by the Super Soaker.

3) Heated seats and welcome light – No more frozen seats in the morning…enough said.
暖かいシートと夜のランプもいいかんじ。
夜中の訪れには最適。
4)Automatic toilet lid and seat- No more touching the toilet…at all. Just push a button to choose how you want to use the toilet…I love it when it automatically opens up when you walk in the bathroom.
自動シートとカバーにも感動しました。外国人の初心者にはこれが一番ウケますね。
俺も大好き。
５）Automatic flush, cleaning, and maintenance- All you have to do is your thing.
Hahaha, anyways, you HAVE to try it and once you get used to it, you’ll never go back.
Just remember, you can the cheaper ones for like $200 but they might not have the odor vacuum function.
You (and the person you love) need that function. Trust me…
When I build my next house in the states, I am gonna put all the electronic household appliances from Japan in it.
It’s like living in the future…TODAY! Clean butts for everyone!
アメリカにまた引っ越す事があったら間違えなくワォシュレットと追いたきは入れますね。
