RIP: Atsushi Kuroi

On Feb 2, 2010, the drifting community lost another important member.

Atsushi Kuroi passed away due to a motorcycle accident. He was 42.

I had the pleasure of working with him on various projects including JDM INSIDER and all the D1 events…

It’s quite a shock and I’m just sorry that I had to find out through the internet on a random browse.

I wish his family and close friends my deepest condolences.

２月２日に大事な人が亡くなりました。

TEAM TOYOでも有名だった黒井敦選手が交通事故で亡くなりました。

僕はD1とJDM INSIDERなどで良く会っていました。本当にショックです…

2010年2月2日、交通事故により黒井敦史選手が急逝されました。(享年42歳) 　黒井敦史選手は、2001年のD1グランプリ初年度より参戦。2007年には富士スピードウェイにて初優勝を果たし、2009年はTeam TOYO TIRES DRIFT with RiverSideに所属し、シリーズランキング9位を獲得する等、D1グランプリにおいて多大な活躍をみせました。
心よりご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。
