My Favorite Ramen
One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is Ramen time.
Nothing beats a lunchtime beer with C☆ and some dope Kyushu ramen!
最近は昼間のビールが僕の一つのweekend楽しみになってるんだ。
九州ラーメンとビール…オヤジ達が昼から飲み始める気持ちが少し分かる（笑）
This ramen shop right near my house is the bomb! Check out these gyoza dumplings!
They pack an explosion of flavor!
うちの家の近くにあるラーメン屋。たまたま入った店なんだけど、マジで俺好み。
餃子の味は最高！うめ〜〜〜〜！！
Ahhh, and C☆‘s favorite Negi (onion) ramen.
Nice tonkotsu (pork based) thick broth…one of my favorite types of ramen soup.
C☆の定番、ネギラーメン。大量のネギが何とも言えない…
and mine….you won’t find this in LA…
This needs no explanation…just one of the small pleasures in my life. =)

Now all they have to do is to fix this one stream of freezing air from the outside the hits right on your head…
あとはめっちゃ冷たくてちょうど頭に当たる隙間風をなくしてもらいたい…

You are correct in saying that there is nothing like that in Los Angeles! Even my favorite local joint Kyushu Ramen in Van Nuys doesn’t compare. To say that I am jealous is an understatement. Happy (belated) Birthday and Congratulations to you on your 1 year anniversary Toshi!
